Event FAQs

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the venue is fully accessible with lifts and ramps throughout. The Victoria Warehouse team will be on hand throughout the day to assist with navigating the venue.

What time does the event start?
Registration will be from 8.30-9.30 with the talks commencing at 9.30.

Can I come just for part of the day?

Yes, if you’d like to come for only morning, afternoon or part of the day then that is absolutely fine.

Is the event child friendly?

No, unfortunately we are unable to accomodate children at this point in time. Apologies for any inconvenience on this.

Are food and drink available at the venue?

Victoria Warehouse will be providing lunch options on site, so you’ll be able to purchase lunch at the venue. There are local shops and restaurants nearby.

Will there be an after-party?

Yes! Join us in the networking area 5-6.30pm for a drink on c3.

How do I get to the venue?

All travel options for the venue can be found here. Please note, onsite parking is reserved for event production and those with accessibility requirements. Nearby alternative car parks can be found here.

Is there a dress code?

There is no formal dress code for Up North, however please be aware that there are stairs and cobbles to navigate around the venue so flat shoes are recommended.

Free wifi is available on the day, details for this will be included in the programme.

We want to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for our attendees at Up North.  Please be respectful to your fellow delegates

If throughout the day there is something that makes you feel uncomfortable then please reach out to a member of the connective3 team so that we can help resolve this. We’ll all be wearing Up North t-shirts so are easy to find throughout the venue.
